Autotragic, some fading and dings in the paint and the passenger seat was missing, but any time you see an E24 on the road it's a good day.

The 633 is the first BMW that I ever took notice of. BMWs were not exactly thick on the streets of my blue collar city back then and the ones I saw I thought looked a little weird, but the 633? Pure sex.

Such greenhouse. I think 90% of these I see are auto, usually late run cars.

That bumper is bigger than my car.

There is something to be said for those big ‘80s bumpers. On my E21 I was in the unenviable position of having to ram into someone, and with those big-ass bumpers my car suffered nary a scratch. I wouldn't want to try that with a modern car with their small integrated bumpers, if you could even call them that.

I wish my dad would have been a little less stodgy and practical and bought the E24 that he wanted instead of a number of 5-series and E-class sedans that he did buy. As head of his consulting firm I think he didn’t want to come off as being flashy and fiscally irresponsible given the rates he charged, and so he repeatedly chose the bottom model of the mid-sized sedans.
I was hoping that by the time he retired I could have been in the financial position to purchase for him the 6-series he deserved. I don’t think an M6 would be his style, but a 635CSi with the 5MT would suit him just fine. But I'm not in that spot, and he's gone seriously green and is quite happy with a Chevy Volt that he powers from his solar panels. And given what he was spending to keep his old E-class running, I think he's happy to not have to deal with maintaining and old German car; I know I am...

I’ll take the non-American version with the regular bumpers. I’m sure they’re fine :)

Lol agreed. I help some dude that once spun his e30 use his 560sl as basically a ram to get him unstuck from the muddy rut he had gotten into. Was ridiculous but it worked, and also wasn’t my car so i was fine with it
